Route 66 Kingman

Co-Chairs: Tosha O’Neill and Jessica May

In partnership with the Historic Electric Vehicle Foundation, the Route 66 Kingman Chapter will remove barriers to EV adoption all across Mohave County.

Officially founded on March 19, 2024, R66K hit the ground running and held its official chapter launch event on May 4th, during the 35th running of the Historic Route 66 FUN RUN.

According to visitarizona.com, “Kingman is the heart of Route 66, with frequent classic car events, glowing neon signs, and an overall retro vibe that embraces the city’s vibrant past.”

With large events like the Annual Historic Route 66 Fun Run, which celebrates the nation’s longest stretch of “un-touched” Route 66, it’s easy to see how much car culture influences the nature of Kingman. While honoring Kingman’s past, DRIVE Electric Arizona will bridge the legacy of Route 66 with the future of automotive technologies that are electric vehicles.
